Neuroinformatics is a subdiscipline of bioinformatics – the application of bioinformatics in the neurosciences.  The Society for Neuroinformatics in Neuropsychology is an international organization dedicated to the application of neuroinformatics in the field of neuropsychology.  The SCNN provides a platform for clinicians and researchers in neuropsychology to explore the frontier of neuroinformatics.

Mission of the SCNN

The SCNN seeks to promote the application of neuroinformatics (NI) in neuropsychology.  The SCNN platform serves three primary functions:

• To promote discussion on the topic
• To communicate information and resources
• To coordinate projects and set up working groups

The SCNN acts as a central organizing body for those who share ideas and interests in informatics systems geared specifically to clinical and research applications in neuropsychology.
